It is so easy to get overwhelmed by climate change. It feels like the list of things we must change and alter in our lives is never ending. But, we must strive to make these changes nonetheless. As the saying goes, there’s no Planet B. So here is another list of ways you can make little changes in your life to hopefully make big changes to the world.

Another video? Why not! Hear Kristen Marhaver, a coral reef biologist says it isn’t too late for us to act, to save our dying coral reefs. They have been shown to adapt well to trauma, so given enough time they will be able to recover and survive. However, this doesn’t just happen by itself. We of course need the help of governments, some of which aren’t prepared to make the changes to save their reefs. At least we can hold onto this bit of hope.
LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE GIRLS! We know climate change affects all of our health, but let’s take a moment to find out how it affects women in particular. Apparently there is an increase in asthma in adolescent girls due to climate change. Research into the affects of climate change is even more alarming for pregnant women. The outcomes can include premature births and low birth weight which can have long-lasting effects. Making a few small changes in our lifestyle doesn’t seem such a big deal anymore.
